Our neurosurgery staff is here to provide excellent customer service to help make your experience with the office as efficient, informative and personal as can be.

Kristen Tysell Ghoussaini, CPNP, Pediatric Nurse Practitioner

 

Kristen provides educational information regarding surgery and treatment plans as proposed by the surgeons. She coordinates care for neurosurgical patients throughout the course of evaluation and treatment, including hospital admission, surgical intervention, inpatient care, and discharge planning and coordinates the continuity of care between the hospital floor setting, operating room, and discharge.

Patrick Wong, PA-C, Physician Assistant

 

Patrick Wong, PA-C, is one of our Pediatric Neurosurgery Physician Assistants. He works very closely with the neurosurgeons on all aspects of patient care, from the outpatient/office setting, to inside the operating room.

Keri Rash, LCSW, Social Worker

 

Keri Rash is our Clinical Social Worker. She provides comprehensive clinical social work services for children and their families. She assists them in coping with, and adapting to their acute and chronic health care conditions. Keri will locate, refer, coordinate and assist in determining eligibility of social, medical, financial, and other services to meet our patients' and families' needs.

Von Tannehill, Surgical Coordinator

 

Von is responsible for assisting patients/physicians with scheduling and the daily functions of the insurance verification process, including verifying benefits, checking patient eligibility to determine coverage and notifying patients of their financial obligation. She follows the patients from the day of their consultation through to pre-op and after surgery. She is very knowledgeable and helps educate families through the surgical process.

Kayla Lewis, Office Administrator

 

Kayla oversees the day to day operations of the Neurosurgery department. 

Yvette Arias, Office Associate

 

Yvette provides secretarial and clerical support to the Neurosurgery department. Yvette sets the tone of the practice with each patient interaction and the great way she resolves parents' concerns and helps to make patients feel comfortable.
